Unawareness

When you travel by MRT or buses in Singapore, you will notice that there is always a signage states "Please Be Considerate" or "Reserved Seating" indicating that we must offer our seat for those who need it more (pregnant ladies, disabled people, elderly people or mother with a kid). I was heading to Vivo City about 6.30pm yesterday and I took train from Bedok to Outram Park station. At that time I was busy BBM-ing (BlackBerry Messenger) with a friend called Catherine too (we were born to be friends with the same name, hehehe). She was telling me that our exam results will be released on 12am tonight which is lastnight. I was too busy BBM-ing her with my cell phone until the train reached Tanjong Pagar station whereby a pregnant lady and a man in his sixties boarded the train and were standing beside me. I was still unaware that there were 2 person deserves the seat that i was sittting because the train was too crowded during that peak hours 6.45pm. Finally, the man in his sixties shouted "people should be more understanding to give you their seats". I ignored my online chatting and was looking for where is that sounds came from. Oh my God, the pregnant lady (which i guess she is about 6mths pregnant maybe) was standing beside me. I quickly stood up, apologized and gave her my seat. I felt very guilty at that moment which I should be more aware with my surroundings. If he didnt say anything, probably I would just busy with my cell phone (because I was really unaware, not pretending) and the lady will just standing there until I alighted at Outram Park station. The "message" I got here is sometimes we are just too busy with ourselves without being care with others arround us that may need our helping hands, our listening ears or just our caring hearts. And the funny thing is my exam result didnt release on that day which made me too busy with my cell phone. Hahahaha

The Dreams Begin

There's a saying "every amazing things start with a dream." Let's dream guys! Don't afraid to dream as it's free :p
Perhaps the feeling of "fear" and "failure" to achieve those dreams make us afraid to dream big. Actually those negative feelings are kind of obstacle for us to dream which turn out to ruin all those dreams before it come true. Having a dream isn't stupid but not having a dream that's stupid. Without dreams, life is meaningless. Have dreams and ambitions in your life, don't afraid of not achieving what you aim in your life or fear of falling down if you dream big; because if you fail, it's mean that you're learning something. Failure is just a "postponed" way to success. Life is fair, if you fail once it doesn't mean that you'll fail forever. Failure gives you time to introspect yourself, move on and make a breakthrough in your life. "If you can dream it, you can do it." (Walt Disney) Dreams alone cant be a reality without plan and action. You must plan of what to do to achieve your goals and make a massive action for a massive results. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. So we have to plan big as nothing is impossible in this world; sky is the limit.

Does God Really Exist?

Does God really exist? Do you believe in God? If God exist, why I'm not rich? Why I can't get everything I want? Why there is so much suffering and pain? Why why and why. Common question :)
I really like a story about this and I will share this story to you all and maybe this simple story will give an explanation on the nature of God.
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. When they were talking about God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God really exist."
"Why did u say so?" asked the man.
Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God exists, there would be neither suffering nor pain, I can't imagine such a loving God will allow all these things happen.
Then the man kept quiet as he didn't want to start an argument. After the barber finished his job, the man left the shop.
Just after he left the shop, he saw a man in the street with long, dirty, stringy and untrimmed beard. he looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber, "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, I am a barber and I just worked on you."
"No! Barbers do not exist bacause if they are exist, there would be no people with dirty hair and untrimmed beards like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers do exist! That's what happen when people do not come to me" said the barber.
"EXACTLY!!!" affirmed the man. That's the point. God does exist. That's what happen when people do not come to HIM and seek HIM for help. That's why there is so much suffering and pain in this world. Sometimes God may let something happen is just because He want us to look for HIM, seek HIM and asked for HIM.

What Kind Of Life Do You Want?

Have you ever asked yourself, what kind of life do you want? In fact, the life we are living now is not what it is meant to be but instead it is that of our choices. Our choices today will affect our future. If you choose to be happy, you'll be happy. If you choose to be success, you'll be success. Life is about choices. Choose the life you want and live it. Be ready for every opportunities and strive for it that lead you to a successful life.
Shakespeare said: "I always feel happy, do you know why?"
Because i dont expect anything from anyone, expectations may hurt, life is short so love your life :)

Before you spend => earn
Before you pray => forgive

Before you hate => love

Awesome Ladies Day

Time flies..
This is what I can say when I met my secondary school friends yesterday. Yesterday has been really an awesome night which we never have any gathering since we all left secondary school.. Many things has changed but our friendship will still be the same, no matter what :)
"Time isn't what make a friendship last. It's love and devotion that keeps the tie between souls."
One of our friend came to visit us so we decided to have a gathering and invite her along. We agreed to meet up at Tonkichi Orchard Central (sorry gals i was late) and after the dinner we went to Marina Bay Sands and Esplanade to chill out and took some awesome photos. Here they are:

Hope, Faith and Believe :)

HOPE

BELIEVE
- Jesus said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed." (Luke 8:50)
- "Everything is possible for him who believes." (Mark 9:23)
- Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." (John 6:35)
- "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." (John 20:29)

Have hope and faith in God, believe that God will work on something great for you :)

I Love Sunday

Sunday!!! Always feel great when heard about Sunday. You know why? Because I can enjoy whole day for fun, movies, shopping or simply gathering with my beloved friends after a week full of activities. But most important is it's the day for me to praise and worship God. As a Christian, personally, it's a must for me to go to the church every Sunday although we can worship God anytime, not only on Sunday.

Today has been really a long day for me. I went to church early morning and after the service I went to Singapore Zoo, followed by casual dinner and returned home about 1130pm at night. But it was really a great experience for me as it has been so long I never been to zoo. Me and my friend bought 3 in 1 ticket which cost only $45 and we could get the chance to explore the Night Safari, Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park. And next week is the schedule for Jurong Bird Park :)

I'm a person who love nature, I don't really keen on going to shopping malls or cinemas every single day without anything to buy or any good movie to watch. Looking forward to go there again :)
